CIA Model of Anxiety Reduction

A stating that no doubt you've heard a good deal running a business, in sports, and human performance generally speaking is controlling the controllable. What does that actually mean? I wanted to take this concept of managing the controllable, which is actually really good advice incidentally, and take it out with the whole world of being a cliché and in the arena of something we are able to actually do.
In our workshops we'll use something referred to as CIA Model to help students gain comprehension of this concept and reduce stress in their own personal lives. It's pretty straightforward this model so here's the short form.
CIA is short for Control Influence Accept. All in the circumstances and situations we find inside us will get into one of these simple three categories. I am going to discuss them in the opposite direction order.
Accept
There can be an enormous amount of things in our world that individuals should just accept. Weather, traffic patterns, scores and link between games we're not actually playing in. One with the best things that people can do for our own satisfaction is when there's something we have to accept, is basically simply to accept it not waste any injury attempting to change it out.
Influence
The second category are things we influence. The two big issues that belong to this will be the immediate environment, your car or truck, your workplace, your house, and other people that you deal with. Listen, do not have complete control over our children, our colleagues, etc, but perform have influence over them, then one of the best things that you're able to do on your own growth is the fact that in circumstances that you have influence to truly exercise that influence will dramatically enhance your self-esteem.
Control
Now we arrived at the category of things we are able to control. We're here to speak about governing the controllable. Well, do you know what, folks? I've found that there is really merely one thing on the list of things that people can control. It's your decisions.
That's right, your decisions about your lifetime would be the only thing that individuals already have direct treatments for. When you realize this, it becomes kind of confronting and kind of liberating all as well. What do you do with this information, that this only thing that I have total control over are the decisions that I make?
Stop looking to control issues that you don't have any treating. Amazing in my opinion simply how much energy people waste attempting to control stuff that they maybe have influence over, but also in many cases should just accept. I'll also point out that when it comes to items that you might have zero influence over, I wouldn't spend a lot of time talking or complaining about them. It's just a drain on the energy. Are you catching yourself attempting to control stuff that you want to just accept? Notice that, and I would change your mind on that.
When you realize that the only thing you have control over is your decisions, assume responsibilty with the decision-making process. I'm not saying to blame yourself when things come out poorly. I am saying it requires responsibility here for the decision that you just make. That's when you begin controlling the controllables and seeing the results which you really be interested in.
I don't play a whole lot of poker, but one thing that I often hear is winning at cards, specifically poker, has a small amount regarding the cards that you simply are dealt, and it includes a huge amount to do with how we make decisions and play the cards which you're dealt. Same thing is true of your health. Life truly is 10 percent what goes on to us and 90 percent how you react.
